New Company, Proven Mastery
Founded in San Ysidro, CA, V-Rex Drywall Inc. was born out of Salvador Velazquez's vision to raise the bar for drywall contracting in South Bay and greater San Diego. Having spent more than 20 years on active construction jobsites, Salvador mastered metal stud framing, high-production drywall hanging, and precision Level 5 hand-taping.
"Although our company is new, our experience is not." That principle drives everything we do. Too many contractors cut corners with thin coats of joint compound, hurried sanding, and poor jobsite cleanup. At V-Rex Drywall Inc., we treat every residential wall and commercial ceiling with patient, laser-guided precision.
Full general liability coverage protects homeowners, general contractors, and commercial landlords.

The Principles That Guide Every Job
Quality Workmanship First
We never rush drying times or skip coats. We use premium corner beads, high-strength fiberglass or paper tapes, and finish with proper feathered edges.
Reliability & Timelines
When we commit to a start date and deadline, we honor it. Our crews work early (6:00 AM start times) to stay aligned with your general construction schedule.
Cleanliness & Respect
Drywall work is notoriously dusty. We seal off living spaces with plastic zip walls, protect flooring, and thoroughly clean the site every afternoon.
